Building Partnerships Across America: A Week on the Road with EntrySign
Join Technical Director Nev as he shares insights from six days spent strengthening partnerships, visiting customers, and expanding EntrySign’s presence across North America.
Last month, I had the opportunity to spend six days travelling across the United States on behalf of EntrySign, meeting with partners, consultants, and prospective resellers as we continue to grow our presence in North America.
The trip was certainly a busy one…
Six flights, thousands of miles travelled, countless coffees, and a packed schedule of meetings. But the objective was clear from the start: strengthen existing relationships, establish new partnerships, and explore opportunities to bring EntrySign to even more organisations across the US.

Chicago
Our journey began in Chicago, where we met with one of our established partners following the successful deployment of EntrySign at the iconic Lake Point Tower. Joined by representatives from Paxton, we demonstrated the benefits of the integrated EntrySign and Paxton solution, showcasing how visitor management and access control can work seamlessly together to enhance security and improve the user experience.

The feedback was incredibly positive. It was encouraging to see firsthand how the partnership continues to deliver value and to discuss future opportunities for collaboration.
In Action
One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Lake Point Tower itself. Seeing EntrySign operating in a live environment was a fantastic experience. The system is currently being used to manage lift access within the building, helping streamline visitor access while maintaining security.
Being able to see the solution in action, engage with onsite staff, and capture content from a completed deployment provided valuable insight into the impact the system continues to have since installation.

Evolving Tech
Later that day, we travelled southwest to Naperville, Illinois. Consistently ranked among the best places to live in the United States, Naperville is known for its excellent schools, thriving business community, attractive downtown area, and well-maintained neighbourhoods. Despite being considered a suburb of Chicago, its population of around 150,000 makes it larger than many cities in the UK.
There, we met with a leading architectural engineering consultant. These organisations play an important role in shaping the technology specified in new developments, making them influential voices in the adoption of innovative solutions. Our discussions focused on how visitor management technology is evolving, the role EntrySign can play within modern buildings, and how security and visitor experience can be considered from the earliest stages of project design.
EntrySign’s Capabilities
The following days were spent meeting with prospective new resellers across the region. Each conversation centred on how EntrySign can complement access control projects, improve site security, streamline visitor management, and create a professional first impression for visitors.
What stood out throughout these meetings was the level of enthusiasm for intelligent visitor management solutions. Organisations are increasingly recognising that visitor management is about far more than simply signing people in. It is about security, compliance, operational efficiency, and creating a seamless experience for everyone entering a building.
Metropolis, Illinois
The final leg of our journey took us to Metropolis, Illinois, where we met with a family-owned integration business serving customers across the United States. While based in a relatively small town, the company delivers projects for major organisations nationwide.
What began as an introductory conversation quickly developed into a detailed discussion around customer challenges, opportunities within their existing projects, and how EntrySign could help support their clients. By the end of the meeting, it was clear that the foundations of a promising new partnership were already taking shape.

The Power of Partnerships
While every meeting was valuable in its own way, the trip reinforced something that holds true across industries and locations: successful growth is built on strong relationships.
Whether reconnecting with established partners, meeting prospective resellers for the first time, or discussing future projects with consultants and engineers, every conversation highlighted the importance of face-to-face engagement. Technology allows us to stay connected across continents, but nothing quite replaces sitting down together, sharing ideas, and understanding each other’s goals.
The Future
After six days on the road, six flights, and countless miles travelled, the results spoke for themselves. Existing partnerships were strengthened, new opportunities were identified, and several organisations expressed strong interest in working with EntrySign in the future.
As we continue to expand internationally, visits like these remain a key part of our strategy. Building trusted relationships, supporting our partners, and helping organisations create safer, smarter, and more efficient visitor experiences will continue to drive our growth across North America and beyond.
I am already looking forward to the next trip.
